Daniel will share “New Compositions Based on Old Tunes.” A Fulbright recipient, he and Shelby will travel to Budapest this fall to research Roma Folk Tunes. On their return in the spring, he will present and perform folk music and some of his own compositions for us. Daniel will also address how incoming college students can take full advantage of the university’s musical offerings.
