Eligibility: Any piano student of any age
Fee: $15 application fee to students of CMTA teachers; $20 for
all others.

In this fun, informal event, piano students of all levels choose one of two options
for performance: 1) a movement from any piano concerto, with the “orchestra”
part played on a second piano by an accompanist of their choice, or 2) a piano duo
(NOT a four-hand piano duet) with the second piano part played on a second piano
by an accompanist of their choice. Memorization is optional. Two commentators
provide written feedback on the performances, with no ratings of any kind
attached. Lists of appropriate level concerto repertory as well as piano duo
suggestions can be found at the Piano Concerto Festival page on the CMTA
website.
