CMTA Piano Concerto and Duo Festival
In this fun, informal event, piano students of all levels perform a movement from any piano concerto, with the "orchestra" part played on a second piano by an accompanist of their choice. Or, new for 2014, piano students may perform a piano duo with the second part played on a second piano by an accompanist of their choice. There are no ratings, and memorization is optional. Two commentators provide written feedback on the performances. Lists of appropriate level repertory can be found by clicking Repertory suggestions.
